Trump backed away from his pledge to “bring back waterboarding and a hell of a lot worse,” admitted that NATO was “not obsolete” after all, and, after consulting the leaders of Canada and Mexico, agreed not to pull out of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
